This hotel is a hidden gem in the countryside. The chateau is simply stunning, filled with beautiful paintings and interesting objects that give it a truly unique atmosphere. The rooms are nicely furnished and the attention to detail is evident throughout. I especially enjoyed the picturesque gardens, with their well-maintained landscaping and amusing animals, like llamas and peacocks. The staff were polite and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
No significant drawbacks, it was truly a delightful stay.

I recently had a delightful stay at a charming hotel tucked away in a tranquil setting. The old historic building exuded elegance and was adorned with fascinating paintings and objects, creating a truly immersive experience. The attentive staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even going as far as upgrading our room when they saw we were traveling with a child. It was a pleasure to take in the stunning view of the animal park from our bedroom, adding a touch of natural beauty to our stay. Furthermore, the hotel's lush gardens, although in need of some care, added to the overall ambiance.
Some minor improvements could be made to enhance the overall experience.

Great location with stunning views.
New year's eve was a complete nightmare. The room was filthy and smelled like something died in there.

Staying at a castle was incredible! the paintings, objects, and animals were amazing. the owner was very kind and helpful. the location was great as it was near a steam train station and the surrounding countryside was beautiful.
The cleaning was not up to par and some areas had an unpleasant odor. It was a shame that the most beautiful room was not accessible to guests.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming period place. The room, although old-fashioned, was spacious and had everything I needed. The staff were all friendly and the owner went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. I had a peaceful night's sleep, surrounded by the sound of birds. The traditional breakfast was delicious. The highlight was the tour of the impressive building and the animal park within the grounds. Seeing llamas, deer, and goats up close was an incredible experience. This hotel offers a unique countryside gem that is hard to find elsewhere. I highly recommend this hotel.
